V-22 Master Volume

On the main page, you wrote

"For under $5.00 one can unleash the beast in a V-4 or VT-22 amp by adding a master volume control in a very convenient location (R21 and R23 get replaced with a 100K pot and 10K resistor connected to the wiper arm).

I do have a VT-22 1976 and I'm unable to find R21 and R23.
Could you please elaborate on the process of building the control ?.

Thanks

Re: V-22 Master Volume

Revision D?   We need to know if it is master volume or no,  or distortion

There are really only 3 different vt22 circuits

Re: V-22 Master Volume

Hi Hangman, thanks fr your reply.
This is the 591761 version, named Rev D on the schematic.
There is a Disto but no master volume plug.
I've seen people using a 25k pot on "Preamp out" ?.
Is it correct ?.

Thanks for your help

Re: V-22 Master Volume

There is no master volume plug on any of them.   The pedal that ampeg made plugged into the "ext amp" jack. Which is equivalent to your preAmp out jack.
Not sure on the value.  I never used the master volume pedal.  Can anyone else confirm the value?
