TAD 6L6GC-STR in V4
Anyone had success with the TAD 6L6GC-STR in a V4/V4b? i'm still wondering if i'm going with some 6l6gc or 7027a's. I'll be using the amp for bass duties, i'm just worried the TAD might fry up fast cause of the high plate voltages...

Re: TAD 6L6GC-STR in V4
I've tried he TADs in other amps and wasn't pleased. they seem like they are not well made, they tend to get microphonic really fast, and we have a fair number of them short out within the first 3-6 months of use.
I wouldn't put them in a V4 personally. but if you decide to I would be interested to hear your experience.
