Gemini II... is my bias setting OK??
Just finished my rehab of this curb find and all went well. All works as it should and it runs nice and quiet. 7199 changed to 6U8A and bias is steady @ -22v
Question- In a DARK room I can see a touch of red on the plates, is that normal? I'm using new EH 7868's. So maybe w/ new production tubes they should be run a bit cooler?
If so what should I change the bias to?
tried to get picture of the tubes in the dark...
Many Thanks!
