V4 Clips

This section is still empty!

Josh has some great Ampeg amp clips already...

I have one I recorded but keep forgetting to clean up and submit...

I got a Reverberocket 2 now too that I can record as a comparison when it's all cleaned up.

Trying to work up the enthusiasm here for me to get to work on clips!

In the internet age, people love and live by sound clips - great opportunity to cut straight past the pre-concieved notions and give people a chance to hear what these Ampegs actually sound like, solo and in the mix, minus the cheesy camera mic compression and youtube-ization of the tone.

C'mon!

Re: V4 Clips

Not a sound clip per se, but the bass sound on Silkworm's "Insomnia" is one of my favorite bass tones.  According to SKWM's bassist Tim Midgett, it was an Ampeg V4 into a Mesa Diesel 1x15.

Re: V4 Clips

Not on Youtube or anything unfortunately, but I think you can listen to the song hear:

Bass is panned to the right on this song, so it's easy to pick it out and just listen to what Tim is doing.
