vt-22 with ext.2 question
I have a vt 22 I want to run it through a 2x12. I have yet to buy a 2x12. But what should my ohms be set at on the amp ? 4 8 or 16...on the impedance switch...I want to use the amps speakers as well as the 2x12...so what impedance cab should I get and what should I have the switch at for most volume without blowing stuff up? Thanks...and no I don't want to spend $600 on a fliptopscab. I'm poor.

Re: vt-22 with ext.2 question
Which speakers/ what is the impedance of the internal speakers?
They used two configurations, important to know which one you have.
If you kept an eye out you might find an original ampeg vt22 extension cab, the aren't as nearly as expensive as the fliptops cab.
