7027A vs 7581A on V4B

I have the opportunity to get NOS tubes at a decent price.

I know 7027A are the tubes my v4b was made for, but heard good things about the other.

Which one would you recommend? I love the sound on my amp but a little more headroom wouldn't hurt. Does the 7581 gives you more headroom? which would be the difference? any mods?

No it won't give you more headroom.   The v4 clips pretty hard.  If ome of the feedback is removed from the poweramp the amp transitions into distortion a little more smoothly,  but it puts out the same power... Distorts at the same volume if not a little earlier.
