I have a V4 cabinet with 4 - 16ohm speakers wired for 4 ohm. I also have a V4 that is 8 ohm. In the "Docs" it says to set the impedance switch at half of the one cabinet if running two of equal impedance. Where should I set my impedance switch? Would it help if the 4 ohm cabinet was switched to a 16 ohm cabinet? Thanks for your help.

I am not sure I understand your question.
Do you have two cabinets, one that is 4 ohms, and one that is 8 ohms, and you want to know what to set the amp for?

Exactly. I am using a V4 head with a 2, 4 and 8 ohm switch.

Well, if you want to use both... There is no 6 ohm setting. I wouldn't use them both unless you could rewire them to bethe same.

Wouldn't running a 4 ohm cab and an 8 ohm cab together equal 2.67ohm.?

Oh boy...I must've been really jet lagged. Yes you are correct. 2.67ohms. Not 6 as I mistakenly wrote. Thanks for the correction!
